Data Protection Policy

The new European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is now in effect. In order to allow the school to collect, use and manage personal data of students and teachers more transparently, we have established a school’s Data Protection Regulation Policy.

ECEC’s commitment to the personal data
A. The processing of personal data is reasonable, legitimate and transparent
B. Collection of personal data is clear, specific and minimal
C. Keep personal data safely and properly
D. If ECEC finds inaccurate information in the data, ECEC will update and amend it immediately

Specific implementation
A*. Personal data collection methods: student registration form and teacher’s job application form
B*. Personal data use for Chinese language teaching, satisfaction surveys, ECEC activities, statistical studies and teacher recruitment
C*. The retention time of personal data is from the submission of the registration/ job application form until the user requests to delete it. If the user leaves the school and does not request immediate deletion, it will be saved for one year and then deleted.
D*. The use of personal data is limited to ECEC interior
E*. The users have a right to inquire, update and request the deletion of their personal data
