Since the establishment of the ECEC Chinese School in June 2017, all teachers, parents and management team members have been working together and the school has developed steadily.<\/p>\n

As the 2020-2021 school year approaches, the school starts new student enrolment<\/p>\n

Start date:<\/strong><\/em> September 5 2020 (Saturday), 30-week course throughout the year<\/p>\n

Location :<\/strong><\/em> Zoom online class (during the epidemic) or Leith Academy High School<\/p>\n

The school admissions rules are as follows:<\/p>\n

1. Student registration<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

1st grade students (Up to 15 peoples): Children must be the age of entry the local primary school. If you have special needs, please notify the ECEC in advance. A Child with older brothers and sisters admitted by ECEC will be getting a place with priority. If the enrolment is full, child’s name will automatically enter the waiting list. Once there are vacancies, the ECEC will promptly notify the parents.<\/p>\n

Transfer students: whether it can be transferred to the class based on the number of students in the existing class. If there is no place, child’s name will automatically enter the waiting list.<\/p>\n

2. New student registration method<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

At the bottom of the ECEC homepage, please click the “New Student Registration” link, (http:\/\/ecec.org.uk\/en\/student-registration\/<\/a><\/u><\/span>) and complete the registration form. If you are a transfer student, please specify your Chinese level.<\/p>\n

3. Tuition payment method<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuition fees for mandarin classes are charged once throughout the year and non-mandarin classes are charged by term. The fee can be paid by cash, cheque or bank transfer.<\/p>\n

5. Notes<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

All the classes will use the Zoom platform during the epidemic. To ensure a more normal teaching environment, teachers and students will turn on the voice and camera during class. If you have any concern about this, please contact the ECEC. If you do not raise an objection, it will be considered as “agree to use”.<\/p>\n
